Helping parents pick the right book for their child!

Our goal here is to give parents a resource of book ratings for our kids. As a parent myself, trying to find books that are at an appropriate for my child has been a challenge! Between not showing a rating, to using a different rating school than their school, it makes it difficult. Here I have created a comparison between 6 of the most common scales. Here you will find comparisons between:

• Developmental Reading Assessment (DRA)
• Guided Reading Level (GRL)
• Fountas & Pinnell (F&P)
• The GRL and F&P reading scales are extremely similar and will be used interchangeably
• Lexile
• MAP RIT
• Accelerated Reading (AR)
